U.S. Race Riots break out in a number of Cities in the United States Cleveland, Newark and Detroit

U.S.  Interracial Marriage is declared constitutional by The Supreme Court in the "Loving v. Virginia" case and barred Virginia and by implication other states from making interracial marriage a crime
